2010 Boston Reunion Raffle 

Every year we give all who served on any ship named Lawrence a chance to be a winner in our Reunion Raffle. This years 1st place prize winner will receive at no cost a hotel room from June 24-26, 2010, free Registration for two, free Welcome Reception for two, and a free Farewell Banquet for two. 

There is also a 2nd and 3rd place prize. These prizes will be determined at a later date. 

How to enter and win

There is no cost to enter, but you must go to the Ship's Store link at the top of the page. Once there print off the order and raffle form. Then check the box marked free membership, provide your name and contact information, and mail the form to the address listed at the bottom. This entitles you to one(1) free entry.

  You are also entitled to one additional entry for each of the following:

1. Pay the yearly dues for 2008, 2009, or 2010.

2. Everytime you purchase from the ship's store.

3. One entry for every $5 donated to the Association.    

How the winner is determined

To keep the raffle totally fair each entry is assigned a number using a computer generated random number. Then the winner is determined by using the 3 or 4 digit Pennsylvania Lottery's Daily Numbers. First place is determined by the evening drawing on December 31, 2009. Second place is determined by the Mid-Day drawing on January 1, 2010. Third place is determined by the evening drawing on January 1, 2010. Winners will be notified in writing by US Mail.

2009 Reunion Raffle Winners

 Congratulations to our first place winner Stephen Sarnoski(RD2,64-65) with the winning number 099. Second place winner was Ronald Schlidt(EN2,68-72) with the winning number 510. Third place winner was James Summerfield(GMM1,63-66) with the winning number 545. Here is the list of assigned numbers.

2010 Reunion Raffle Changes

Unfortunately due to the bad economy we were forced to make changes to the raffle. Starting this year the first place winner will have to cover the cost of the tours. The tour companies and venues are no longer offering us free entries. In the event we are able to negotiate the bus seats for free for the tours or the event entry fee, we will issue the winner a refund of those costs after the reunion. However we are still providing a free hotel room, registration, Welcome Reception, and Banquet for two. This is still a great deal for the winner.
